I know I promised to give you many many recipies for homemade popsicles, and I know I have been slacking, mainly becuase I have been just useing the V8 fruit and veggie bends and freezing them into popsicles and my daughter loves them, however we have a had surplus of berries running through the house lately and she is infatuated with lemons, so I decided to try out this combination and so far she hasnt had a complaint.
Ingredients Per Popsicle:
1/3 cup water
a popsicle maker (or a small plastic cup to make the popsicles in you will need popsicle sticks too then)
1. Slice your strawberry as thin as you can and throw into the popsicle holder. Depending on how big your holder is or how small your strawberry is you made want to ad extra.
2. Squeeze your lemon into the popsicle holder until about 1/3 -1/2 way depending on your tolerance for sour. (I made these for my daughter who can eat a whole lemon without flinching, and so we filled each holder about 2/3 of the way full the lemon juice.) Another thing you can do is add additional sugar if you want the sweet lemon taste
3. Top off the rest of your popsicle holder with some water and stir it up a bit. Then add your popsicle stick.
